Our Process

  1. Idea Submission & Public Engagement
    • We actively seek innovative ideas from the general public, fostering a culture of open innovation.
    • Our dedicated team of engineers conducts thorough computer modeling and simulations to validate these ideas.
  2. Sustainability Validation
    • Each idea undergoes a predefined sustainability assessment to measure its potential impact on the market or industry it serves.
    • Only those concepts that meet or exceed our sustainability criteria move forward, ensuring that every innovation contributes to a more sustainable future.
  3. Co-Authoring & Patent Filing
    • For ideas that pass our sustainability validation, Nexustainable Labs co-authors the patent with the inventor.
    • We cover the cost of filing the patent, reducing the financial barrier for inventors.
  4. Intellectual Property & Commercialization
    • Nexustainable Labs retains the first right to lease the intellectual property, leveraging our extensive network to identify manufacturers or partners.
    • InfraTechDC, as the parent company, holds the first right to sell and distribute the product for an initial period (1-5 years), establishing a market base before broader distribution.
  5. Vertical Integration & Portfolio Enhancement
    • We collaborate with VC and Private Equity firms to leverage their networks, vertically integrating the process and increasing the value of their portfolios.
    • This model ensures that innovations not only reach the market but do so with maximum impact and efficiency.

Value for Inventors

Inventors retain recognition as named individuals on the patent and receive financial compensation from the lease or sale of their intellectual property. This model rewards innovation while fostering a sense of ownership and partnership between inventors and Nexustainable Labs.
